I compensate sleeplessness, stress and frustration with clothes that give me that needed boost.
Saturday’s OOTD : Black skin-tight dress + DIY denim jacket-turned- vest + Metallic blue ballet flats.
Don’t mistake the beautiful ability of making sex work for the difficult ability of making a relationship work.

This was taken during our descent to Singapore. I was already readying myself for landing when I saw a peculiar scene of ships afloat a seemingly calm sea, almost as if they were in some sort of formation and are ready for battle. LOL. I scrambled for my camera to take this shot. Good thing I was able to do so before the plane turned and left me with a different view.
It won’t stay and sink into the bubble of maybes you build below the ships and boats and fish that swim to live. You might need to race me and win. You might need to stop me before I slip off and disappear.
The hardest part in travel packing is the editing. You throw in a bunch of clothes that suits the weather and the venues you’ll be visiting, and from there take out pieces that are redundant, hard to match or simply too blah.
Laying out the clothes per outfit helps if you’re a packing noob. With enough practice, you’ll be able to do this in a jiffy, with only your imagination helping you out. :)
In my case, I’ll be visiting a place with Philippine-like weather, with random rainfall. I need to travel light (because 1. I must make room for my shopping purchases! and 2. I should consider my baggage allowance.) so I’ll be bringing feather-light clothes, but I will also include cardigans to keep me warm in air-conditioned areas. I had to keep in mind that I have limited number of shoes with me too, so before putting all these inside my luggage, I have to make sure they will all match. ;)

10 Rules For Happiness | Thought Catalog ›
4. Hope
Hope is vital to one’s happiness when happiness is threatened, and in a life full of problems and the potential to worry, hope comes in handy. The thing about hope is that it can be the hardest thing to hold onto when you need it the most, yet at the same time, hope is one of the most difficult things to kill. I think when hope is truly dead, so is the spirit, and at that point, the body has no willingness to live. Less worry, more hope, more happiness.

“There’s that look in your eyes again—” you said with a concerned laugh, “—that look that you want me but I’ll never have you no matter how much I wanted you.”
Here’s the short story I wrote that became a film. That little film then became a finalist at the Crystal Palace International Film Festival 2012 in London and at the International Film Festival in Manhattan, NYC 2012. My brave little heart is so happy it could grow wings.

I wish I could write. I get these ideas but I never seem to be able to put them in words.

Surround yourself with people who make you happy. People who make you laugh, who help you when you’re in need. People who genuinely care. They are the ones worth keeping in your life. Everyone else is just passing through.
